A store employee witnessed the suspect conceal a sweatshirt and exit the store, failing to make payment. The 16-year-old male from Pasadena admitted to stealing the merchandise. He was cited and released in the field.
At about 3:54 p.m., an officer responded to Embassy Suites, 211 East Huntington Drive, regarding a subject causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. The officer located the subject and noticed symptoms of alcohol intoxication. The officer determined the 26-year-old male from Pasadena was unable to care for himself and he was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
At approximately 10:39 a.m., an officer responded to the Arcadia Police Department front counter regarding a burglary report. An investigation revealed an unknown suspect stole a paint pump from a residence under construction in the 1000 block of Singing Wood Drive sometime during the previous weekend. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
Just after 12:01 p.m., an officer responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of Arcadia Avenue regarding a package theft report. The victim’s package went missing and suspects the item was stolen since neighbors also reported recent package thefts. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
Around 1:56 p.m., officer responded to a residence in the 600 block of Windsor Road regarding a domestic violence report. Officers determined an altercation occurred between a male suspect and his ex-wife resulting in the suspect biting and scratching the victim. The ex-wife’s roommate was punched and scratched as well. The 48-year-old male from Corona was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail. He also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Just before 3:06 p.m., an officer responded to CARS Recovery, 5449 Peck Road, regarding a report of counterfeit money. The officer discovered a repossession company recovered a vehicle and upon inspecting the interior, located numerous blank credit cards, a credit card skimming machine, and 22 counterfeit $100 bills. The registered owner of the vehicle is a 27-year-old female from Los Angeles. The investigation is ongoing.
Shortly after 5:45 a.m., officers responded to Mitry Pharmacy, 145 East Duarte Road, regarding the activation of an Arcadia Police Department GPS tracker. Arcadia PD detectives had previously deployed decoy medication bottles containing tracking devices to combat the increase in thefts from pharmacies. Officers determined unknown suspect(s) broke the front glass window and fled with bait medication containing the tracking device. The tracking device was found nearby; however, officers were unable to locate the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
At about 11:41 a.m., an officer responded to Delta Distribution, 111 South First Avenue, regarding a vandalism report. Surveillance footage revealed two suspects were seen approaching the area that had been vandalized. The suspects are described as a medium to thinly built male, wearing light colored pants, white T-shirt, and a hat. The second suspect is described as a male, thin build, wearing a white T-shirt, baseball hat, dark shorts, and a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
At approximately 9:03 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 00 block of West Palm Drive, regarding a burglary report. The officer discovered an unknown suspect took light fixtures, two faucets, and cabinet handles sometime during the previous evening. The investigation is ongoing.
Around 7:38 p.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Santa Clara Street and Huntington Drive for failing to have both license plates displayed. Upon contacting the driver, the 28-year-old female from Rowland Heights stated she did not have a license. A records check of the driver revealed she had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The officer noticed two small children in the rear of the vehicle not seated in car seats. During a search of the vehicle, the officer located illegal fireworks. The driver was cited and released in the field. The vehicle was held for 30 days.
At about 12:57 a.m., an officer responded to the area of West Huntington Drive and Michillinda Avenue regarding a subject check. The officer located the subject who was trying to flag down a citizen because he was having trouble walking. Upon contacting the subject, the 20-year-old male from Arcadia admitted to being in possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
Just before 1 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of West La Sierra Drive regarding a burglary report. Surveillance footage revealed three suspects smashed a rear window, ransacked the bedrooms, and attempted to steal a safe before fleeing on foot. The suspects are three Hispanic males, all 18 to 30-years-old, wearing hooded sweatshirts and pants. The investigation is ongoing.

Loss prevention specialists witnessed the suspect conceal $215 worth of merchandise inside a bag before exiting the store, failing to make payment. The 20-year-old female from Duarte was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
