International Movies at Arcadia Public Library

Escape to faraway places through the movie screen at the Arcadia Public Library. The Library is proud to present a year-long series of foreign films on the third Wednesday of each month. Patrons 18 and over are welcome to attend.

On Wednesday, Jan. 15, the Library will host “A Man Called Ove,” the story of how an ill-tempered widower redefines his life. On Wednesday, Feb. 19, a mysterious woman disappears on a family trip to the beach in Iran, while on Wednesday, March 18, “11 Flowers” follows the experiences of a poor family during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 6 p.m. Bring your dinner if you wish – dessert is on the house.
